It happened again!
The Jewish community said that they are shocked, angry but not surprised and I have to agree with them.
What to do?
Leading politicians are talking, but can they walk the talk? Education they say! to whom and for what?
For not stabbing Jews?
It is easy to get upset, to speak out from your heart and sometimes you should, but I guess there is more to it.
1. Reject violence and hatred outright
Violence against any group—whether religious or ethnic, in this case the Jews—is morally wrong. We Christians, are called to oppose injustice without mirroring it.
2. Affirm the dignity of every person
All people are made in the image of God. That means antisemitic attacks—or any targeted violence—should be firmly condemned, while also refusing to dehumanize perpetrators.
3. Respond with both justice and compassion
I am not arguing for passive acceptance. I support lawful justice, protection of victims, and social responsibility. At the same time, I urged individuals to avoid revenge and instead embody forgiveness and peacemaking where possible.
4. Be a peacemaker in society
Drawing from Jesus’ teachings, I believe Christians should actively work to reduce tensions, stand against prejudice, and promote reconciliation.
This my friends is very hard, but necessary. We need to pray, ask the Holy spirit to help us, to be encouraged by it and continue to pray.
That's on the longer term, now we need to reach out to the Jews and show them our support!
